Knee Arthroscopy

Mainly meniscal injuries, reviewing in the same procedure the condition of other structures of the knee (ligaments, articular cartilage, and other soft tissues surrounding the joint).

Repair of meniscal tear with arthroscopy (a technique by which we insert a small camera and miniature surgical instruments through two incisions of about 0.5 cm) either by remodeling the fragments or by meniscal suture in cases whereit is indicated, and also by lavage (flushing inflammatory components) of the articular cartilage and articular joint, allowing loading and early flexion (walking) on the operated limb, about 12 hours after surgery.
